We have been friends since freshman year of college and now live together in NYC!
We share cooking tips, encourage each other to go to the gym and even started The Challenge. We have both lost weight recently, and a great deal of our success can be attributed to having the support of a friend! We’ve learned a lot through this journey and want to share some of our knowledge and experiences with all of you. We hope that you enjoy it!
Expect tips and topics to focus on:
- Cooking – We will make sure to share epic failures and great successes, with recipes and pictures, of course.
- Running – Megan has run three marathons and is currently training for Disney in January! She’s got some advanced knowledge on this topic. On the other hand, Felicia is a beginner and has discovered a love of running. She hopes to run a race soon and will be offering some insight from the newbie perspective.
- Working out – We both love Jillian Michael’s Making the Cut program, spinning, pilates, and recently, yoga. We like to keep things at the gym interesting and try to take classes together as much as possible. It’s so much better doing it with a friend!
- Baking – This is all Megan, but who knows, Felicia might try her hand at it from time to time.

Hello Ladies,
Lauren and I were talking about your blog so I thought I would check it out. Best of luck on the marathon and 1/2 marathon training:)
I’m just pumped to be walking again. It will be a few more months before I’m running a 12 minute 2-mile again but I’ll get there. Cheers!
Kurt
Thanks Kurt!! We’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that you recover quickly! I’m sure before you know it you’ll be kicking our butts with your six minute miles!! (and Hi Lauren!)
Megan-
Congrats on the Disney Marathon. You are truly amazing. I too am on a weight challenge: down 6 with 10-15 more to go. Am lucky if I can walk/run 3-4 miles on the treadmill. I’d be thrilled just to be able to run a 5 k this spring. Hope you figure out the law school/future career dilemma. Going to a job that you love is such a gift. One I can say I’ve been given for many reasons. Miss seeing you and your family. Ana has been on me to bring her to NYC, so who knows . . . . maybe this summer. My love to all.
